For this picture I actually did it the other day to help out my daughter for a school presentation. She and her group were doing a report on “Cyrus the Great”. One evening when I dropped her off at her friends house, her friend told her that I looked like “Cyrus the Great”. My daughter then asked me if I could dress up like Cyrus and come to her classroom during their presentation. I told her that was more work trying to get a hold of a costume in time and let alone I’d probably be in school too. So I told her I would do the next best thing. I found a picture on the internet of “Cyrus the Great” and then I took a profile picture of myself. The next step I did was cut out Cyrus’ face and put mine into it. After making it black and white with a few clicks here and a few drags there, just like that I became “Jake the Great”. She presented it to her class and they were all in shock that I did that. With a little humor from her teacher, who insisted the next time they saw me to call me “Jake the Great”, her assignment was a success. Glad I could help out.

Hello Jake,
I really liked your image of “Jake the Great,” and the best of all you are a hero to your daughter. How impressive and very imaginative, and also creative. You seem to have some great ideas, and cannot wait to see more blogs to come.
Really cool idea. A great way to be there for your daughter without actually being there. She must of loved it… Plus you get to be king… not bad, not bad indeed. And the photo looks great too!
that was a good idea. good job on the editing also.
Probably the coolest dad ever!….. Love your imagination. You never cease to amaze me with your creative outlook on everything. Great editing job and use of blending the sketch feel with a black and white image!
